The NCC of St. Johns College was started in the year 1955. Capt. K. S. Subramanian, Department of Chemistry was the ANO of the college NCC from 1977 to 1986. Major Alex Devadass, Department of Physics was the ANO of the college NCC. from 1996 to 1998 Prof. G. Andrews, Assistant Professor, Department of History was the caretaker and from 1998 to 2013 was the ANO of the College NCC. In the year 2004 when Dr. Balasingh was the Principal, for the welfare of the students an obstacle ground and firing range were made on behalf of 5 TN BN NCC with the tireless effort of Prof. G. Andrews, then ANO, NCC. dr. J. Barnabas Jacob, Assistant Professor, Department of History was the caretaker of the college NCC as Prof. G. Andrews went for his research work from 2010 to 2012. G. Andrew resumed the office after his research. Prof. Kathiravan, Assistant Professor, Department of Economics was the caretaker of the college NCC from 2013 to 2017. From 2017 Lt. Dr. T. K. Stantley David, Assistant Professor, Department of History is being the ANO of college NCC.
