Department of Commerce (Batch-II)
The Department of Commerce was started in the year 1980 and later pursued in self-financing stream in 1996. The Post Graduate course had a flying start in 2006. During last academic year (2017-2018) the department was upgraded as Research department. Our department has been functioning well with six faculty members, with 200 students. It is a privilege to have three doctorate degree holders and two SET qualified staff in this department. Learning is a process which extends beyond classrooms with the view to widen their horizon, the students of our department are motivated to participate in various competitions and they bring laurels to the Institution.
Department of Commerce (Batch-III)
The department of Commerce with CA emerged in the year 2009 with its newly designed curriculum integrated with ICT for the year better coverage of the subject, Accumulation of knowledge, attainment of skills, understanding and applicability. We have 200 students and six staff members among them four doctoral degree holders and two of them qualified SET. Our course and curriculum effectively contribute for the national productivity and international competitiveness. During the year 2017, Department of Commerce with CA is converted into Department of Commerce as per the University norms. Our department is known for more practical sessions. Our students acquire computer skills, entrepreneurial skills, leadership qualities and learn investment tactics. Our students are becoming courageous, encouraging, energetic and creative. Our students are taking part in the entire academic competitions organised by various colleges of various universities across the state and they have won many medals.
Department of Commerce (Corporate Secretaryship)
The department of commerce (Corporate Secretaryship) was started in the academic year 2018-2019 with two staff with 70 students. It has equipped with thirteen text books of latest editions.
